Fears that NBC offensive expertise and technology will be passed on to less stable, emerging nations are very real, as are the dagers of such weapons falling into thehands of unscrupulous, fanatical terrorist organisations or sects. In addition, the problems of maverick individuals obtaining NBC weapons must be considered.
The international requirement for credible NBC Defensive policies and effective protection equipment has therefore never been greater or more urgent. Many nations are awakening to the need for such protection for their armed forces and civilian populations.
